Moving the blog siteHello all! Due to unforseen issues with Carrd, we are working on moving all of this to a new site! I will be personally working on this myself, though we are still debating on what to create it with -- I would personally code it all myself, but that would also be an issue for the other bandmates who may want to alter how the site looks and functions--I'm the only one here who knows HTML, so... bit of an issue there!We would very much appreciate recommendations that make it easy for all of us involved. (Though if I have to code this from the ground up, I wouldn't mind. It would be a fun challenge! I already have an idea for what to use for hosting and stuff, but some thoughts and recs would be appreciated. )

Response to Voicealso we're using the wifi of the highschool next to our recording studio and it blocks some sites so ¯_(ツ)_/¯. no neocities or nekoweb cause god is fucking dead. strawpage works but voice said something about having to pay for custom html to add iframes or something idk. we don't have money. so keep that in mind as well. SIGHHHHHHH this was so much work too man :(

Story TimeOkay, I give up. Whatever. Have your stupid blog. Not like I actually wanted to put it to good use. Sigh. I'll share my own tale.Over the weekend, I went to visit my extended family over in Vietnam with Casey, and they were actually accepting of me, strangely enough. I don't know what I expected -- maybe a bit of misgendering and some arguments -- but all that worrying was almost for naught. I'm actually pretty happy that they were nice about it.
(My Bà and Ông were kinda weird about it but at least they didn't outright disregard my existence! Their reaction was at least than my dad who-- who grew up in Thailand. Thailand, for Christ's sake! You'd think he'd be nicer about this stuff, but oh well.)No, the worst thing that happened was my aunties telling me that 'i was too fat' and 'my shoulders were too broad befitting of a young woman' and 'my skin got too tan from being on Australia too long ah' and 'i should choose better dresses to wear, they look too unmodest' I WORE A SUNDRESS. WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'UNMODEST.' Christ almighty. Casey backed me up, thank God -- lifesaver right there. I love you, man. Sorry my aunties were weird, they've been like this since I was a kid to my sisters. Interesting actually being on that end of the judgement stare after being merely a spectator for so long.
